Electronics-Based USB Devices
The products in this product type are electronic data storage and execution devices equipped with USB connectors, intended for use with personal computers and compatible digital systems. This includes general-purpose USB flash drives used for file storage and transfer, as well as bootable USBs pre-loaded with proprietary software. Redkey USBs specifically refer to USB devices that contain software designed to securely wipe data from hard drives and other storage media. These products typically consist of a printed circuit board (PCB) encased in a plastic or metal housing with a USB Type-A or Type-C connector. Internal components include non-volatile memory (e.g. NAND flash), a USB controller, and supporting circuitry. Devices that are bootable or software-enabled are pre-configured with executable code, which runs independently of the host operating system.

The 4-in-1 smartphone data cables typically feature a single input connector (such as USB-A or USB-C) with multiple output connectors (e.g. USB-C, Lightning, Micro-USB) integrated into one cable assembly.
