SECTION 1: DISPATCH AND DELIVERY TIMES
1.1 Dispatch Schedule
We dispatch orders every Business Day, Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
Orders placed before 12:00 PM UK time are usually dispatched the same Business Day.
Orders placed after 12:00 PM UK time, or on weekends or UK public holidays, are usually dispatched on the next Business Day.
1.2 Delivery Estimates
Typical delivery times after dispatch are estimates only and are not guaranteed:

1.3 Estimates Are Not Guaranteed
Delivery time estimates are provided for guidance only and do not constitute a guarantee or contractual commitment. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside our control including customs processing, carrier delays, weather conditions, and local delivery practices.
1.4 Delayed Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within 30 days of purchase, contact us at contact@redkeyusb.com and we will investigate. We will work with the carrier to locate your parcel and determine appropriate next steps.
Customs delays, carrier delays, weather, public holidays, and events outside our control can affect delivery times. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
SECTION 2: SHIPPING COSTS AND CARRIERS
2.1 UK Shipping Costs
UK shipping rates are shown at checkout and vary by service selected. Available services may include standard delivery, express delivery, and next-day delivery where available.
2.2 International Shipping Costs
International shipping is charged at a flat rate of USD 14.95 (or local currency equivalent) to most destinations. This rate applies to standard delivery services.
Some destinations require courier delivery and may cost more than the standard flat rate. Examples include Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Where additional costs apply, we will either show them at checkout or contact you before dispatch for approval.
2.3 Shipping Cost Changes
Shipping costs are subject to change without notice. Changes will not affect Orders for which we have already sent a dispatch confirmation.
2.4 Carriers We Use
We use trusted carriers including Royal Mail, DHL, and other reputable delivery services. The carrier used for your order will depend on the destination, service selected, and availability.
In many countries, parcels are handed to local postal services or delivery partners for final delivery. Tracking usually continues throughout the journey even when handed to local partners.
2.5 Carrier Selection
We reserve the right to select the carrier for your order based on destination, service level, cost, and operational requirements. We do not guarantee use of any specific carrier.
2.6 Tracking Information
Once your order ships, we email a tracking link to the email address provided at checkout. You can use this link to track your parcel's progress.
Tracking updates may take up to 48 hours to show the first scan after collection. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with your order.
SECTION 3: ORDER DOCUMENTATION AND PACKAGING
3.1 Invoices and Documentation
Your invoice is emailed automatically after order placement. Please check your email (including spam/junk folders) if you do not receive it.
For larger orders, a packing slip may be included in the parcel for reference.
If you require your invoice to show a company name, VAT number, or specific wording, contact us before dispatch at contact@redkeyusb.com.
3.2 Packaging
We use minimal, environmentally responsible packaging where possible. Our packaging is designed to protect your products during transit while minimising environmental impact.
Our company name and brief product description may appear on shipping labels and packaging for customs and delivery purposes.
If you require plain packaging without branding, select this option at checkout where available. Note that customs declarations will still show product information as required by law.
3.3 Address Validation
We validate shipping addresses using trusted sources including USPS, Canada Post, and Royal Mail address databases. We may make minor formatting corrections (such as completing postal codes or standardising address formats) to improve delivery success.
If important address details require confirmation or clarification, we will contact you before dispatch.
You are responsible for ensuring the shipping address you provide is accurate and complete. We are not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
3.4 Phone Numbers
If you provide a phone number at checkout, we may share it with carriers for delivery coordination, customs clearance, or address verification.
If you prefer that your phone number not be shared with carriers, contact us before dispatch at contact@redkeyusb.com. Note that providing a contact number may be required for certain delivery services or destinations.
SECTION 4: INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS
4.1 Courier-Only Destinations
Some destinations require courier delivery due to local postal service limitations, security concerns, or delivery reliability issues. These destinations may incur higher shipping costs than the standard flat rate.
Where additional courier costs apply, we will either show them at checkout or contact you before dispatch for approval.
4.2 Customs, Duties, and Import Fees
Import rules, duties, and taxes vary by country and can change without notice. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with import requirements in your country.
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
You should not normally pay additional import charges for orders shipped to the USA. If we are billed import-related charges for USA shipments, we will cover them.
If you receive a payment request at delivery for import charges, do not pay immediately. Contact us at contact@redkeyusb.com for advice and assistance.
EUROPEAN UNION:
Orders up to EUR 150: VAT is collected at checkout via the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) system. This helps avoid additional charges at delivery.
Orders over EUR 150: Import fees including VAT may be collected by the carrier or customs authority on entry to the EU.
EU Business Users may contact us to handle VAT through their own import process. In such cases, VAT may be removed from the order or refunded, but the carrier or customs may then collect VAT on import.
OTHER COUNTRIES:
We do not usually collect import fees, duties, or taxes at checkout for destinations outside the UK, USA, and EU.
Your local customs authority or carrier may charge import fees, customs duties, VAT, GST, or handling fees on or before delivery. These charges are your responsibility.
You are responsible for paying all import fees, duties, and taxes imposed by your country's customs and tax authorities. Refusal to pay these charges will result in the order being returned to us, and we may deduct return shipping costs from any refund.
4.3 Customs Declarations
We are required by law to provide accurate information on customs declarations including:
(a) product description;
(b) product value;
(c) country of origin; and
(d) HS tariff codes.
Please note that we are unable to mark down product values or provide inaccurate customs declarations. Any such requests cannot be accommodated.
4.4 Customs Delays
Customs processing times vary by country and are outside our control. Delays at customs are not grounds for compensation or refund unless the delay exceeds 30 days from the date of order.
SECTION 5: DELIVERY COMPLETION AND RESPONSIBILITY
5.1 When Delivery Is Complete
Delivery is complete when the carrier marks the parcel as delivered according to their tracking system. This may include:
(a) delivery to the address provided;
(b) delivery to a neighbour or safe place as authorised;
(c) delivery to a collection point or depot; or
(d) signature obtained from recipient or authorised person.
5.2 Responsibility After Delivery
Once marked as delivered by the carrier, risk and responsibility for the goods pass to you.
Please choose a delivery address where someone is available to receive parcels or where parcels can be left securely. We are not liable for theft or damage after delivery has been completed.
5.3 Delivery Issues
If you believe a parcel was marked delivered in error, or if it arrives damaged or tampered with:
(a) contact us immediately at contact@redkeyusb.com;
(b) provide your order number and details of the issue;
(c) take photos of any damage to packaging or contents; and
(d) retain all packaging materials for investigation.
We will investigate delivery issues and work with the carrier to resolve them. Our liability is limited as set out in Section 7.
5.4 Lost, Misdelivered, or Stolen Parcels
If a parcel is reported lost, misdelivered, or stolen:
(a) we will investigate with the carrier;
(b) we may temporarily pause services linked to that specific Redkey device while we investigate (this is a security precaution to prevent misuse); and
(c) we will work to locate the parcel or determine appropriate remedy.
If a parcel is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion, subject to the limitations in Section 7.
5.5 Ownership and Risk Transfer
Ownership of products passes to you once full payment is received and delivery is complete according to Section 5.1.
Risk passes in accordance with the Incoterm specified at checkout, or if none is specified, risk passes on delivery as defined in Section 5.1.
5.6 Incoterms
Unless otherwise specified at checkout, deliveries are made on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means we are responsible for delivery to the named place of destination, and you are responsible for import clearance and any applicable customs duties, taxes, and fees.
SECTION 6: SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
6.1 Countries We Do Not Ship To
Due to trade restrictions, courier limitations, delivery issues, or legal requirements, we do not ship to the following countries and territories:
Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Central African Republic, Cuba, Denmark, DR Congo, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Macao, Mali, Montenegro, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Serbia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe
This list may change without notice as trade restrictions, sanctions, and delivery capabilities change.
6.2 Confirmation of Shipping Availability
Contact contact@redkeyusb.com to confirm if we can ship to your location if you are unsure or if your country is not listed as available at checkout.
6.3 Sanctions Compliance
We comply with UK, US, EU, and UN sanctions and trade restrictions. We will not ship to sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals. Orders from or to sanctioned parties will be cancelled and refunded.
SECTION 7: LIABILITY AND LIMITATION
7.1 Scope of This Section
The liability provisions in this Section apply ONLY to shipping and delivery matters. For all other liability matters including product liability, warranty claims, and data loss, refer to the relevant incorporated policy.
7.2 Liability That Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits our liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.
7.3 Liability to Consumer Users
Subject to Section 7.2, our total liability for shipping and delivery matters shall not exceed the greater of:
(a) the total amount paid for the specific Order giving rise to liability; or
(b) the cost of replacing the goods and redelivering them.
We are not liable for:
(a) delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control;
(b) customs delays;
(c) carrier delays;
(d) delays due to incorrect address information provided by you; or
(e) consequential losses arising from delivery delays.
7.4 Liability to Business Users
Subject to Section 7.2:
(a) we exclude all liability for loss of profits, revenue, sales, business, anticipated savings, business interruption, loss of goodwill or reputation, and any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage; and
(b) our total liability for shipping and delivery matters shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific Order giving rise to liability.
7.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivery caused by a Force Majeure Event as defined in our Terms of Service.
SECTION 8: UNCOLLECTED GOODS AND STORAGE
8.1 Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery is attempted but fails because no one is available to receive the parcel and no safe place or neighbour has been authorised, the carrier will usually:
(a) leave a calling card with instructions;
(b) attempt redelivery; or
(c) hold the parcel at a depot or collection point.
8.2 Collection by Recipient
It is your responsibility to collect parcels from depots or collection points within the timeframe specified by the carrier. Failure to collect within this timeframe may result in the parcel being returned to us.
8.3 Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because:
(a) delivery could not be completed;
(b) the parcel was not collected from the depot or collection point;
(c) the address provided was incorrect or incomplete; or
(d) you refused delivery;
we will contact you to arrange either redelivery at additional cost or a refund less any return shipping costs and other charges incurred.
8.4 Storage Charges
We do not charge storage fees for parcels held at our premises pending redelivery or collection. However, carriers may charge storage fees for parcels held at their depots beyond their free storage period. These charges are your responsibility.
SECTION 9: LEGAL FRAMEWORK
9.1 Scope of This Policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy explains how we dispatch and deliver physical products purchased from Redkey USB Ltd. This policy applies to outbound shipping only (from us to your provided address).

9.2 Policy Hierarchy

9.3 Definitions
Terms used in this Policy have the meanings given in our Terms of Service, including:
(a) "Business Day" means any day other than Saturday, Sunday, or UK public holiday;
(b) "Consumer User" means an individual buying mainly for personal, domestic use; and
(c) "Business User" means a person or organisation buying for trade, business, or professional use.
9.4 Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. For jurisdiction and dispute resolution, see our Terms of Service.
SECTION 10: GENERAL PROVISIONS
10.1 Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control including severe weather, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, pandemics, supply chain disruption, or shortages of transport, fuel, labour, or materials.
10.2 Severability
If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version is available at https://redkeyusb.com/policies/shipping-policy.
