Yes. It's a promise we made when we first set out on Kickstarter in 2018. Our free downloadable updater app makes it easy to stay up-to-date with the latest software. Updates are released periodically, so be sure to check back for new software occasionally.

Redkey USB is a one-time investment that serves you for years. There are no subscription fees or ongoing costs involved. Most of our more established competitors will attempt to charge you per data wipe; we think that's a bad deal, and it's why the Redkey USB was invented. When you buy a redkey, you're getting something that's practically unheard of in the software industry - unlimited use on unlimited computers. No strings attached. Your Redkey must remain attached during use.

Redkey works on most Intel-based Apple computers (e.g., iMac, iMac Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, Mac Pro) made between 2006 and 2020. Although we are working on this, Redkey is not currently compatible with post-2020 Apple silicon M1 type computers. Redkey is not compatible with any pre-2006 (Pre-Intel / Power PC) systems. Minimal system requirements: X86/X64 & 1GB RAM.

No, although Redkey USB will work on most recent models of Apple computers, there is no facility to Activate or Update your key using them. You must use a Windows PC at least once to activate and update your software.
